The Oakham is a men's fleece gilet and the Lyndon is a women's fleece gilet. The women's Launde is a down-filled style with a recycled-polyester outer. Choose the model first, then check its fit, materials and available colour and size combination.

Fit depends on the model: the Oakham is described as classic fit, the Lyndon has a shaped women's fit and the Launde has a tailored shape. Use the size selector and the guide for your chosen model, allowing room for the layers you intend to wear. If you are unsure, ask Livingston to check the fit before ordering; a single size-up or size-down rule does not cover the whole range.

Wear a gilet over a shirt, polo or lightweight knit for an extra layer through the body. In colder weather, check that your coat fits comfortably over the gilet. Fasten the zip and check movement with your intended layers before choosing your size.

The Oakham is made from 100% polyester Pontetorto Tecnopile Premium Fleece, with Schöffel signature faux leather trim. It has a two-way front zip, two zipped security pockets and an adjustable drawcord hem.

The Oakham is machine washable. Follow the instructions on your garment's care label for the wash cycle, temperature and drying method.

Oakham sizes are listed by chest size in inches, and Schöffel describes the style as a classic fit. Check the selected colour and size on the product page. If you need help choosing, contact Livingston with your usual chest size and the layers you plan to wear.

The current Lyndon II specification uses 100% polyester Pontetorto Tecnopile fleece with faux leather trim. Older colourways may have different trim, so check the details for your chosen colourway or ask Livingston to confirm the garment.

The Launde has a water-repellent recycled-polyester outer and 90% down, 10% feather filling. Water-repellent is different from waterproof: use a suitable waterproof outer layer when you need protection from sustained rain. Follow the Launde's own care label when cleaning it.

A fleece jacket adds sleeves, while a fleece gilet leaves your arms free. In our range, Cottesmore and Burley are full-zip fleece jackets; Oakham and Lyndon are fleece gilets. Choose according to the coverage and layering you need.

The Cottesmore and Burley are machine-washable polyester Pontetorto Tecnopile fleece jackets. Follow your own garment's care label for the temperature, cycle and drying method.

The men's Cottesmore and women's Burley are described as regular fit. Check your chosen model's size selector and allow room for the shirt or base layer you intend to wear underneath.

The Snipe and Rockingham II field coats use waterproof, windproof and breathable Venturi two-layer fabric with a water-repellent finish. That specification applies to these field coats; it does not mean every Schöffel fleece or gilet is waterproof.

Yes, the versions listed in our range contain stretch fibres. Camden is 98% cotton and 2% elastane. Canterbury Moss and Navy, style 20-4250, are also 98% cotton and 2% elastane. The earlier Charcoal Canterbury style 20-4215 has a different recorded blend: 91% cotton, 6% elastomultiester and 3% elastane. Check the selected colourway's details.

The Countryman and Tweed Classic caps in our range are made from 100% lambswool tweed. Check the selected cap's colour, size and product details before ordering.
