Schöffel Gilets

The Oakham is a men's fleece gilet and the Lyndon is a women's fleece gilet. The women's Launde is a down-filled style with a recycled-polyester outer. Choose the model first, then check its fit, materials and available colour and size combination.

Fit depends on the model: the Oakham is described as classic fit, the Lyndon has a shaped women's fit and the Launde has a tailored shape. Use the size selector and the guide for your chosen model, allowing room for the layers you intend to wear. If you are unsure, ask Livingston to check the fit before ordering; a single size-up or size-down rule does not cover the whole range.

Wear a gilet over a shirt, polo or lightweight knit for an extra layer through the body. In colder weather, check that your coat fits comfortably over the gilet. Fasten the zip and check movement with your intended layers before choosing your size.

The Oakham is made from 100% polyester Pontetorto Tecnopile Premium Fleece, with Schöffel signature faux leather trim. It has a two-way front zip, two zipped security pockets and an adjustable drawcord hem.

The Oakham is machine washable. Follow the instructions on your garment's care label for the wash cycle, temperature and drying method.

Oakham sizes are listed by chest size in inches, and Schöffel describes the style as a classic fit. Check the selected colour and size on the product page. If you need help choosing, contact Livingston with your usual chest size and the layers you plan to wear.

The current Lyndon II specification uses 100% polyester Pontetorto Tecnopile fleece with faux leather trim. Older colourways may have different trim, so check the details for your chosen colourway or ask Livingston to confirm the garment.

The Launde has a water-repellent recycled-polyester outer and 90% down, 10% feather filling. Water-repellent is different from waterproof: use a suitable waterproof outer layer when you need protection from sustained rain. Follow the Launde's own care label when cleaning it.

A fleece jacket adds sleeves, while a fleece gilet leaves your arms free. In our range, Cottesmore and Burley are full-zip fleece jackets; Oakham and Lyndon are fleece gilets. Choose according to the coverage and layering you need.
